This is an oil painting on wood panel, of a street scene from Cleveland, Ohio, where we passed on a road trip in summer 2022. It was a sweltering day, and close to downtown, with very wide streets and rails for street cars. This part of the city felt very eerily empty, with hardly and cars or people, despite some newer office buildings.
